More/LIRE PLUS
Rights museum gets on with it
Winnipeg Free Press Share/Partager
Recently, journalists were supposed to visit the Canadian Museum for Human Rights to see the installation
of the last of 1,100 glass panes, completing the iconic glass 'cloud' that is the building's signature design
feature. This was designed to be a good-news story, evidence that despite its recent trials and tribulations,
the building is getting closer to completion. More/LIRE PLUS
VAG to feature works by Brian Jungen at Shanghai Biennale
The Vancouver Sun Share/Partager
Some of artist Brian Jungen's sig-nature works will be featured next month in the Vancouver Pavilion of the
Shanghai Biennale. The biennale is presenting city pavilions as part of its program for the first time in its 16-
year history. Vancouver is the only Canadian city to be selected for the major international art forum, which
is expected to attract between 600,000 and 800,000 visitors. More/LIRE PLUS

More/LIRE PLUS
AGO exhibits Evan Penny's body of work
The Globe and Mail Share/Partager
With his spiffy brogues, tight jeans, pressed shirt, semi-Corbusier-style glasses and generally well-groomed
appearance, Evan Penny seems rather like one of those precisely rendered, meticulously produced
aluminum/silicone humanoid sculptures for which he is famous, the ones where every liver spot and
eyelash has been positioned just so. More/LIRE PLUS
Mackenzie House gives a glimpse of Toronto's political past
Digital Journal Share/Partager
Toronto's first Mayor William Lyon Mackenzie was a journalistic rebel who believed in social reform. He
was also behind a revolt that would leave him exiled for 12 years and two of his closest friends hanged.
That history comes alive at Mackenzie House located at 82 Bond Street. More/LIRE PLUS
