Culture Days @ The Reach
September 28 - 30, The Reach celebrates Culture Days with activities for everyone

Abbotsford, BC, (September 20, 2012) - The Reach is very excited to be included amongst nearly 7,000 free activities that are already registered to take place in some 800 communities across Canada for the third annual Culture Days on September 28-30, 2012.  We have six activities planned over the three days - all FREE to the public.
Friday, September 28
11am - Illuminating Peace Exhibition Tour and Pillars of Peace Workshop by Amy Loewan
12pm - Curator's Talk by Haema Sivanesan on "the heart that has no love/peace/generosity is not a heart"
7pm - Film Night @ The Reach with movie The Kite Runner
Saturday, September 29
1pm - Illuminating Peace Exhibition Tour and Pillars of Peace Workshop
3:30pm - Arts Action Heritage for a fun hands-on session
Sunday, September 30
1pm - Illuminating Peace Exhibition Tour and Pillars of Peace Workshop

The third annual Culture Days will be celebrated in hundreds of cities and towns from coast to coast to coast, with thousands of free activities from a wide range of disciplines including: visual arts, music, dance, theatre, architecture, heritage, film and video, literature, culinary arts and new media. 1.2 million Canadians participated in over 6,000 activities spanning over 800 communities during Culture Days 2011. The momentum continues to build and participation in Culture Days 2012 is anticipated to surpass last year's.
