Star-studded open letter pushes for new VAG building in Vancouver

 An online letter supporting a proposed new Vancouver Art Gallery has been signed by an impressive list of 
artists, curators, gallerists and others connected to the visual arts. VAG officials want to move to a plot of

'Vandalized' Alberta aboriginal rock carvings never existed: RCMP

 It appears a report of vandals damaging a giant rock in southern Alberta covered with historic aboriginal 
carvings was nothing but a hoax. The rock, named the Glenwood Erratic, is located in a field belonging to 
Hutterite farmers near the village of Glenwood, about 100 kilometres southwest of Lethbridge. A media 
report said old pictographs and petroglyphs had been destroyed, possibly with acid, a pressure-washer and
