The  Arts Council of the Central Okanaganis a non-profit organization that is the underlying support for anything and everything that is art.

Art  is culture, entertainment, recreation, lifestyle and worldview.

** 60 Artists in Sixty Spaces

To mark its 60th Anniversary the Arts Council will for this special occasion expand its ever popular Artscape Program by showcasing the art of "
60 Artists in 60 Spaces".
This event will take place throughout Kelowna, West Kelowna, Peachland and Lake Country showcasing and celebrating events that will include all art forms; visual, performance and literary arts. Admissions to the event will be free or by donation, and will give the community the opportunity to experience art in unexpected ways in unexpected places. Please stay tuned for the upcoming dates of this event which will provide a freshness to community engagement and a sense of community pride to all that experience it!

The Arts Council of the Central Okanagan (ARTSCO) is holding its annual general meeting June 13, 2013. All are welcome to attend, admission is free.

At the AGM, the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan is launching its 60^th year celebration with an exhibition titled “60 artists in 60 spaces,” a major series of exhibitions celebrating the inspiring work of Okanagan artists and over 60 years of support for the sector by ARTSCO. “60 artists in 60 spaces,” is a partnership between the Arts Council and regional venues across the Central Okanagan.

Over the past 60 years, the goal of the Arts council has been to develop and promote the arts in the Okanagan, while building a central place for the arts in Okanagan life.

Don’t miss our AGM and find out more about what ARTSCO has to offer. Members and non-member attendees can enjoy the ARTSCO’s year at a glance and listen to our guest speakers and meet with our supporters while enjoying snacks and refreshments. Only ARTSCO members can vote for your new board of directors.
