                         UBC O Elementary Education Year 2 Thank BC Museums

Oral histories are complete, archival videos are uploaded to YouTube, historical artifact Big Books are ready for classroom use along with social studies models.
Museums from Salmon Arm to Osoyoos along with WFN, Rossland and Golden provided "content" for teacher candidates to design historical lessons for K-7 children.
Thank you museum curators, archivists, education coordinators and volunteers for supporting and guiding UBC O ETEP Year 2 teacher candidates with their historical inquiries. Their lesson plans used many different theorists: Bloom, Levstik, Egan, Taba, Wright, Seixas, Sandwell and Werner to "make history come alive" for children.
Museum and archive resources including people are under utilized by practicing teachers. Let's hope the working relationships enjoyed with these student teachers blossom into productive shared relationships with them as teachers.
