*LATE NIGHT THURSDAYS
VANCOUVER MARITIME MUSEUM OFFERS BY DONATION ADMISSION*

VANCOUVER, BC (FEBRUARY, 2012) –– *The Vancouver Maritime Museum has
created a pay-what-you-can evening to make arts and culture more accessible
to all.*

Late Night Thursdays at the Maritime Museum have been an enormous success.
Originally a sponsored initiative with funding from Vancouver Foundation,
the Maritime Museum has decided to continue to remain open 5pm–8pm on
Thursday evenings.

> get to know us for the first time or to reacquaint themselves with this

 Evenings by donation are common in many large cities (New York, London,
Toronto) and are a great way for the Vancouver Maritime Museum to reach
those who might not otherwise be able to visit. The Maritime Museum is
focused on cultural and community engagement and is pleased to continue
Late Night Thursdays by donation.
