   1. Encourage local students to make models. Heritage Fair etc.
   2. Water sand box - running water. Kids build dykes. (idea used at
Kamloops Museum.) Model railroader perhaps help build it. Have model houses
(water proof!), roads, RR, bridge, plastic toy cattle, boats, cars etc.
Scenarios - "what if?" e.g. Woman having baby and on opposite side of
flooded river from hospital? Cattle stranded on an "island"? Road/bridge
washed out? Railroad washed out. (Ask RR what their response would be.)
   3. Interview old timers on video re: disasters. TV and seating for
   showing interviews. Guest speakers.
   4. Have video of flood of 1948 etc. May not be Creston but could be same
or same type of disaster event.
   5. Current City/town disaster planning - ask them to exhibit their
plans, survival kits etc.. Possibly have your exhibit during the annual
   civic disaster planning week.
   6. Discuss/explain cause of flooding? Heavy snowfall etc.
   7. What can/should local people do to prepare in case of future
   problems? Floods, fire, landslide etc.
