Burnaby Village Museum has been offered a plaster/stucco mixer
This is a large construction mixer made by the Essex Huber Co. of Charleston, South Carolina between 1923 and 1927
It is powered by a Witte, single piston, stationary engine.
The overall measurements are Length 61.5 inches by width 39.5 inches by height 55 inches. The wheels are from a model "A" and are 36 inches.
The donor's father bought it used in 1925, in San Diageo, California and brought it up to the Lower Mainland. It was used on building construction in most of the Lower Mainland communities.
Last used in 1964
