CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
2013- 14 BCMA Council


BCMA members are invited to submit names for consideration to Council's Nomination Committee to be presented for membership approval at the 2013 Annual General Meeting in Terrace, BC on the Saturday, June 15, 2013.



The BCMA is looking for current members to fill vacant positions. Positions are for two-year terms. Members willing to let their names stand will need to be available for scheduled monthly conference calls and up to three face-to-face meetings over the year.  Expenses for the meetings are covered, except for the meeting that occurs immediately before BCMA's annual provincial Conference.



When considering a nominee, please forward names of people that possess planning skills, represent diverse stakeholder interests, have their own interest in governance, strategic thinking and a belief in the continued development and future of the BCMA.  Individuals may also forward their own name. Successful nominees will be required to become an Individual Member of BCMA, if they are not already.

Nominations presented to the Nomination Committee require the consent of nominees and each nominee requires support from their institutions.  Please include the name, address, phone / fax / email of both the nominator and nominee.  Nominees are also asked to submit a short biographical statement with the nomination.

5:00 pm, Monday, June 10, 2013
Nominations should be directed by mail, email, or fax to:

Attn:  Kris Andersen, Past-President & Nominations Chair

OR
Presented to the Nominations Chair
prior to commencement of the Annual General Meeting.
OR
As the Association's bylaws also allow for nominations from the floor
at the Annual General Meeting, during the meeting.
