The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford has been selected for our sponsored inSitu Solutions™ mobile app

Idéeclic is pleased to announce the recipient of our sponsored inSitu Solutions™ mobile app program – The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford, in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
The Reach Gallery Museum will work with the inSitu platform to create an innovative historical tour of Abbotsford through the eyes of two local artists; Abbotsford model-builder, Don Bladon and BC painter, Brian Croft.

Brian Croft is known for “painting the history of Vancouver and British Columbia” and a new Our Communities Our Stories exhibition at The Reach will include his most recent work, Abbotsford-1922. Don Bladon is an Abbotsford model artist who captures Abbotsford’s built heritage in highly detailed 1/87 scratch-built scale models. This mobile app will provide a unique look at Abbotsford by linking a map showing the sites of the lost structures recreated by Bladon to photographs and paintings of the buildings and their surroundings.

This project is a perfect fit for the GPS-enabled multimedia guide, inSitu Solutions™, and we pleased to work with the Gallery to promote Abbotsford’s history and art.

Idéeclic would like to thank all of those who submitted applications for this program. All of the applicants presented high-quality projects with great potential. We encourage you to keep in touch, as we frequently work with partners on grants and other pricing models to launch innovative projects to your audiences!
