I am honoured to invite you and a guest to join us at The Exploration Place
Museum + Science Centre for the national exhibit opening of

Kid's Celebrate!
from the Canadian Museum of Civilization

and for the dedication of
the George Phillips Exhibit Gallery

For those of you who didn't have the opportunity to know George Phillips, he
was the Museum's Executive Director from 1992 - 2003.
It was George's exceptional vision that guided the Museum through its major
expansion and rebranding in 2001.
(For those of you who did know George and his family, Norma and their boys,
Marty and Charles, will be joining us too!) We are thrilled to be able to
honour his memory with a permanent gallery naming in this world class centre
he helped to create.

Just to make the evening a little more special, this is the first time the
Museum has ever played host to a national exhibit opening! Crafted by the
exceptional exhibit team at the Canadian Museum of Civilization Kids
Celebrate! is a chance to experience multicultural celebrations from around
the world, all  from a child's perspective.
