[BCMA] craft council of bc - invested/40 gala

in celebration of the craft council of bc's 40th anniversary, 



this exhibit explores what it means to be "invested" in craft through the
work of 37 noted british columbian craft artists. through an examination of
scale, material, process, form and place, we can begin to characterize the
range of crafts being produced in british columbia and can understand the
growing appeal of craft.

 

proceeds from the gala will be allocated to our youth programming, which
fosters the future of craft in the province. the gala opening reception will
take place on oct 18, 7:00 - 9:00 and will feature a brief curator's talk,
food/wine, live music, a silent auction and, of course, amazing craft.
