CALL FOR PAPERS - REMINDER NOTICE
Taking it to the Streets
Commonwealth Association of Museums (CAM) and Glasgow Museums
Scotland Street School Museum, Glasgow
May 14-17, 2014

Plan to join us in Glasgow for a stimulating symposium on community
engagement and participatory governance in museums. 

In addition to the two days of formal presentations, the symposium includes:
. Visits to community outreach programs and Glasgow Museums
. Receptions at the Hunterian Museum, hosted by the University of Glasgow
and at the City Chambers, sponsored by the City of Glasgow
. CAM's 40th anniversary celebration at Tramway, an international art-space
which commissions, produces and presents contemporary arts projects
. More details will be confirmed in the coming months.

Following the symposium, an invitational workshop on museums and
participatory governance will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to
develop projects in your own community and lead to a series of regional
workshops and demonstration projects. 

If you have not yet submitted a proposal to present a paper, panel,
roundtable discussion, Ignite! session, workshop, poster, or other form of
presentation, please submit 300-500 words and a 200-word biography by
September 15, 2013. Please advise whether funding is required.
