On behalf of the 2013 BCMA Annual Conference Planning Committee, I would like to invite you all to the 2013 Annual Conference which promises to stimulate and provoke lively discussion around the ideas of museums, galleries and archives as agents of change and how we can engage our communities as spaces for dialogue, exploration, and preservation of local knowledge and the on-going construction of community.

The theme of this year's conference, Agents of Change: Engaging Our Communities offers members of the BCMA community exciting opportunities for critical reflection and discussion on how museums, galleries and archives can help facilitate the preservation and sharing of individual memories and local histories, and provide new ways of seeing with the intent of building an innovative network of museums, galleries and archives.
