[BCMA] An Invitation to "BC Remembers the First World War 2014-2018: A forum to explore directions, issues and opportunities"

 Good morning,
 
Will your organization commemorate the First World War this year and/or sometime over the next four years during the centenary period? Already planning something? Wondering what to do?
 
On April 30, the BC Museums Association and Royal Roads University will present, BC Remembers the First World War 2014-2018: A forum to explore directions, issues and opportunities.
 
Join us from 9am-4pm as we discuss approaches, plans and opportunities for commemorating the First World War during the 2014-2018 centenary period. Explore possible approaches to First World War commemoration through a facilitated program that focuses on issues, resources, partnerships, good practices and approaches from around the world while providing an opportunity for sharing and networking.
 
To support province-wide participation, you can join the forum in-person at Royal Roads University in Victoria or from anywhere in BC through the university’s online learning platform that will “live-stream” the session and enable facilitated online discussion in small groups.
 
The forum is FREE thanks to the generous support of the BC Museums Association, the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management and the Office of Security and Military Relations, Royal Roads University, and Heritage BC.
