Good afternoon BCMA member. Quick note to spread some BC sport history news.
60 years ago Vancouver hosted the British Empire and Commonwealth Games. The
event was a fantastic success and is noted for many exceptional sporting
events and for putting Vancouver on the map internationally.

 

We have recently opened a new wing celebrating the games here at the BC
Sports Hall of Fame and I thought you may like to read an account of the
closing day of the games. If anyone is visiting Vancouver please come on in
for a visit we love showing off this exhibit.
