The BC Sports Hall of Fame is heading on the road to Mission, BC this
February 20, 21 and 22.

 

VANCOUVER, BC (February 19, 2014):    The BC Sports Hall of Fame is pleased
to be a part of community celebrations in Mission for the BC Winter Games.
"The BC Winter Games is the ideal opportunity to share our vision of
Honouring the Past and Inspiring the Future outside the actual walls of the
Hall of Fame" shares Executive Director Allison Mailer, "The BC Sports Hall
of Fame may be located in Vancouver, but our Honoured Members are from every
region of the province. We believe in sharing their exceptional sport
stories with all British Columbians and look forward to this visit to
Mission, British Columbia. We would like to thank our partners at the BC
Games Society, ViaSport and the Province of BC for helping to make this
outreach experience possible."

 

During the February 20, 21 and 22 visit to Mission, the BC Sports Hall of
Fame will be:

 

.         Exhibiting at the Mission Leisure Centre including:

o   Sport in BC - Choose Your Path travelling exhibit and interactive game

o   Aboriginal Sport Gallery travelling display

o   Winter sport artifacts

o   BC Sports Hall of Famer profiles from the region

o   Fun giveaways

o   Honoured Member appearance with speed skater EDEN GREEN on February 20,
3:00pm-4:00pm

The BC Sports Hall of Fame is located at Gate "A" of BC Place with an
inspiring Hall of Champions, Vancouver 2010 Gallery and many other
