The Magic & Splendour of Haida Gwaii tour helps preserve
B.C. Railway Heritage
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: (February 12, 2014 - Vancouver): Many people have
been intrigued about the mystery and culture of the Queen Charlotte Islands
but are unsure how to get there or what to see. Combine this with rail fans
and historians anxious to give back to our B.C. history and you have the
ideal guest for The Magic and Splendour of Haida Gwaii. This 10 day tour is
run by the tours office of the West Coast Railway Association, a non-profit
society with the mandate to collect, preserve and exhibit railway artifacts
at it's Heritage Park in Squamish (home of the Royal Hudson!).

"I am excited to lead this wonderful tour again.....Haida Gwaii is a unique
experience for its wildlife, rich first nations culture and many very
special places. There are lots of surprises and experiences that cannot be
had anywhere else. And, we get a couple of very scenic train rides on the
way as well. Please join me for this travel experience of a lifetime." (Don
Evans, tour guide 2014)
