Join Lisa Mort-Putland, Executive Director of Volunteer Victoria BC, for a 2-day workshop on Volunteer Management.

*         Develop new ideas for recruiting and retaining excellent volunteers.

*         Identify issues in your organization's volunteer program that need to be solved.

*         Create a training plan for volunteers.

*         Understand how to communicate ethics and standards.

*         Review and discuss the principles and practices that guide and frame Volunteer Management Programs in Canada.


About the Instructor: As Executive Director of Volunteer Victoria since 2011, Lisa Mort-Putland has worked with staff, member agencies, funders, donors, and key stakeholder groups to manage and develop relationships between volunteers and organizations. She previously worked as Development Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria and as Regional Manager for the Land Conservancy of B.C. In addition to these positions, Lisa has also served as Cabinet Member for the United Way of Greater Victoria, and currently sits on the Board at Point Ellice House Preservation Society and the City of Victoria Heritage Advisory Committee.
