Painting 101
Saturday, July 12, 19, 26 and August 2, 1:00 pm

In conjunction with the KAG's summer exhibition, Ted Smith: A Retrospective, local painter and KAG art instructor Andrea Kastner will lead four two-hour adult drop-in acrylic painting classes in our Tricia Sellmer and Ken Lepin studios. These classes will cover the principles of art and design, colour theory, still life, abstraction and landscape painting.

No experience is necessary and all materials are provided.

No registration is required, but space is limited. We recommend that you arrive early to reserve your place. Classes will begin promptly at 1:00 pm.

Andrea Kastner received her BFA from Mount Allison University and her MFA from the University of Alberta. In 2012, Kastner was a finalist for the RBC Canadian Painting Competition, and her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions across Canada. Andrea's work can be viewed online at andreakastner.ca
