Hello colleagues,
There is still space left in the Archives Association of British Columbia's upcoming distance education course Introduction to Archival Practice. Using Laura Millar's award-winning Archives: Principles and Practices, this popular course introduces fundamental concepts of archival practice to archival newcomers. The course will run from October 6 to December 15, 2014.
This course will benefit those working in libraries, museums, records management, local government, administration, art galleries, federal, provincial, state or local government departments or non-profit institutions. You do not have to work in an archives.
Students can expect to work 10-12 hours a week and will receive a certificate of completion upon successfully finishing the course. All instruction is in English. International registrants must pay by credit card.
For more information on the course and to register go to http://aabc.ca/education/distance-education/course-list/introduction-to-archival-practice/
