[BCMA] Some tickets still available for Symposium

Symposium on the Holocaust in Langley
March 3, 2014

This Thursday, March 6, the Langley Centennial Museum is holding a Symposium on the Holocaust in Langley in partnership with the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre.  Holocaust Survivor David Ehrlich will be speaking about his experiences during the Holocaust, at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, and as a war orphan in Canada.  Historian Kit Krieger will be speaking about "Understanding the Holocaust."

The Symposium is complementing two exhibits from the Centre currently on display at the museum - More Than Just Games: Canada and the 1936 Olympics and Framing Bodies: Sport and Spectacle in Nazi Germany. The two exhibits are on display until March 16.  Admission is free.

The Symposium takes place at the Fraser River Presentation Theatre at the Township of Langley Civic Facility on March 6 from 9am - 12:15pm.  Tickets are $5, and advanced registration is required.  Call the museum at 604.532.3536 to register.
