   World's Best Commercials are coming to Kamloops

Kamloops, BC - Take a glimpse into the world's most creative minds in television advertising at the Kamloops Art Gallery's premiere of the World's Best Commercials from the 2013 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

For three days only, the winner's reel from the world's most prestigious advertising award ceremony will be screened at the TRU Clock Tower Theatre. Developed by modern-day mad men from all corners of the globe, these ads were chosen from over three thousand entries at the 2013 awards.

The event is a fundraiser for the Kamloops Art Gallery and is the only screening event in BC outside of Vancouver. Attendees have their choice of seven screenings from April 11-13.  Ads are rated PG.

Admission is $15 for adults; students, seniors and Kamloops Art Gallery members receive a discounted rate of $13. To get the full awards ceremony experience, inquire about the $35 VIP package that includes special seating and a swag bag. Tickets are available online at kamloopslive.ca or at The Kamloops Art Gallery.

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is an annual event of learning, networking and celebration for creative communications professionals around the globe. Held annually in Cannes, France, the event attracts 12,000 people from 94 countries for seven days of inspiration and is recognized as the world's most prestigious international advertising award ceremony.

The Kamloops Art Gallery will be hosting a special media event at 11am on Monday, March 31 at the Kamloops Art Gallery's Sellmer/Lepin Studio. This sneak peek will provide a preview into what you expect from the event.
