[BCMA] Antique Bookbinding Press

Hello, I am looking for some assistance in finding the history of this huge cast iron bookbinding press.

This bookbinder press was believed to be used by our local newspaper "The Similkameen Star" here in Princeton in the early 1900's. The press is red, with a gold star near the top (pictured below). It also has the following codes embossed into the cast iron:
S 158
S 159
SP M&M 161 - on the top turning wheel

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
