[BCMA] Small shield

[Moderated BCMA subscriber listserv.]

I used to date a guy who was interested in the history of weapons and 
shields, from what I remember, this may be from Africa, perhaps a Maasai 
war shield, based on the shape, design and colours. It doesn't appear to 
be Zulu nor Tuareg, which are other collectable African shields. Have 
you tried contacting the Museum of Anthropology? They might want it. 
They should be able to tell you where it's from. Google Maasai war 
shield and you can see similar shields.
