Hello all.

The Alberni Project (TAP) has now developed past our current insurance needs and coverage. So we are looking for alternative insurance carriers for museums which will not only cover the liability aspects but also contents (Loaned or Acquired).

We are still relatively small but as more people bring in more artifacts and heirlooms related to Canada's WWII history we need to up our protection besides the physical alterations to our operation.

How is the all important but all expensive issue of insurance handled with your museum or heritage society? Short of guarding the museum 24/7 with a shotgun and a fire extinguisher (neither practical nor easy to find good help like that now days) we don't know where to start looking outside our event insurance company.

Thank you for your input.
