September 25: Drawing

October 30: Animal Masks

November 27: Painting





This fall, join us at the Kamloops Art Gallery for forty-five minutes of fun, mess and exploration with plant and vegetable pigment markers, crayons and paints.



We'll begin in the Gallery with a brief exhibition tour designed for toddlers and then head into our studios to make some art. In September, we'll explore drawing-making dots, lines, shapes and creatures on giant sheets of paper. In October, we'll talk about our favourite animals, make masks and practice our best animal noises in preparation for trick or treating. In November, we'll get really messy experimenting with paint-painting with fingers, brushes, cars and dinosaurs.



All of our materials are made using natural pigments and dyes derived from plants, safe for young children who think everything is food. Remember that making art with toddlers is messy-dress in something that you won't mind getting a little beet or spinach pigment paint splatter on.
