Wage: $11.50/hour (35 hours/wk for 16 wks)

The Summer Program Assistant will deliver educational programs to children and the general public.  The successful student will be involved in researching, developing and implementing a new summer program at the museum.  All applicants must meet eligibility criteria set out by the Young Canada Works (full time Canadian citizen and student between the ages of 15 and 30). Applicants with an education in history or tourism and strong communication/interpersonal skills are preferred.  Public speaking skills are an asset.  The position is open to the Government of Canada's job equity groups (i.e., women, persons with disabilities, visible minorities, Aboriginal peoples).  This position is subject to funding approval.
