The 7th Annual Riot on the Roof

Downtown Vernon Parkade Rooftop

Saturday August 22, 2015 @ 7:00pm

expose themselves to affordable and diverse art forms in Vernon."

Riot on the Roof is a night of alternative art aimed at engaging young
people aged 16 to 25 in the arts and cultural sector in our community.  The
event is celebrating its 7th year and will take place on top of the Downtown
Vernon Parkade at 7pm on Saturday, August 22rd. Tickets are only $10.00 and
can be purchased at the Vernon Public Art Gallery or on our website
(www.vernonpublicartgallery.com).

 

"Every year Riot on the Roof changes and develops, offering new and exciting
ways to showcase local talent and inspire youth to get involved with art in
our community. Last year, Riot on the Roof was enjoyed by hundreds of youth
and I look forward to seeing a great turnout again this year!"

Riot on the Roof brings together an assortment of artists in one unique
venue for one amazing night. Each level boasts an array of talent,
showcasing art in all its forms. This includes two stages of live music,
installation art, a Cirque Du Couture fashion show, graffiti artists, live
painting, and dance. Food "artists" will also be there so plan to eat out at
one of our food vendors.

 

Prepare to be inspired by our local artists and musicians as you enjoy the
spectacular view from the top of the Downtown Vernon Parkade.
