We hope to have a strong and diverse representation from all aspects of the sector, particularly for the first meeting (the second one is directed to current and potential operating clients). The BC Arts Council is pleased to be returning to Prince George this February as part of the 2015 Canada Winter Games Coldsnap Festival: "Come In From The Cold" Workshop Series.

Workshop/Discussion - Arts and Culture Needs in the North
The BC Arts Council will lead a discussion around the needs, challenges, strengths and opportunities for arts and culture in BC's northern regions. Participants are encouraged to bring their thoughts and insights into the role the arts and culture sector plays in Northern BC, and how artistic and cultural development both shapes and is shaped by the opportunities and challenges of economic, social and cultural transition in northern and regional communities. Light refreshments will be provided; please feel free to bring your lunch.

Info Session - BC Arts Council Streamlined Operating Assistance
The BC Arts Council will host an information session to respond to questions about the new Streamlined Operating Assistance programs. These info sessions are directed to organizations currently receiving operating assistance who have questions about changes to the program, as well as organizations seeking to make a new application for operating support.
