Good afternoon,
The Maritime Museum of BC is proud to announce the launch of the We Are the West Coast Conversations Project, a blog showcasing the Museum's conversations with people who have an intimate connection to BC's maritime environment.
Our mission is to tell the stories of the vibrant community that exists on the shores and amongst the wave of the Salish Sea through text, image and sound.
In essence, the blog is a living exhibit, capturing profoundly the way in which contemporary people interact with our ocean and marine heritage. We are also developing a plan to translate the blog into a physical exhibit in the future.
