Examine how curators and content creators are connecting with today's visitors using socially engaged art practices and innovative programming. Amid shifts in education, marketing and visitor services, understand how museums are adopting new practices and programs to engage audiences as they reconsider their roles in the community and the roles of their visitors.
INSTRUCTOR: Allison Agsten is Curator of Public Engagement and Director of Visitor Services at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, USA. In this role, she collaborates with artists to develop a new paradigm for the museum experience. Formerly, Allison was Director of Communications at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
