[BCMA] The Call Went Out

I also work in the classroom as well as in school and museum performance spaces throughout BC, 
as I bring history to life through interactive experience, using props, artifacts and a good dose of humour blended with singing, acting and story-telling.

Hello,

Story Theatre is a long-established professional performing arts company based in Victoria, BC. We generally perform in elementary schools across BC and nationally. The other side of our portfolio includes all-ages shows and partnerships with various corporations and Institutions.  A bit of a round about way to say that we have just received a generous grant from Heritage Canada to produce and perform The Call Went Out a theatre piece based on letters from BC soldiers sent to loved ones at the beginning of World War 1.  This project is  also have a partnership with the Royal British Columbia Museum. They are supplying archival material for display.  

 

We are touring The Call Went Out throughout BC from November 11- 28 and still have some performances available. We  hope you might be able to either take advantage of this opportunity, or point us in the right direction.

 

The show is free of charge to our presenting partners, though we do ask that you help to publicize it in your community.
