EGYPT PRESENTATION

With an extensive background as a museum curator, Dan Bruce has combined his
experience, knowledge, and fascination with Egypt into a presentation for
the Friends of History Lecture Series. The talk entitled, "In the footsteps
of Amelia Edwards: A tour through the land of Egypt", will be hosted at the
Greater Vernon Museum & Archives on Saturday November 14th from 1-2pm. Dan
will take audience members on a tour of various sites of historical interest
with photos taken by himself and Andrew Cousins, and will even have a few
small artifacts on hand. Admission is by donation but we ask that you call
the museum at 250-542-3142 to pre-register as space is limited.
