Art After Dark,  a One of a Kind Creative Soiree!

When: Friday September 18th, 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

 

"Art After Dark is back at the Gallery!  This popular Friday night soiree is
the perfect excuse to get together with friends for a cocktail while
listening to music and taking in the ambiance that the art gallery provides.
Event sponsor Woolley & Co. helps enable VPAG to host this popular event
adding to the night life of Vernon three nights/year.  This event sells out,
so get your tickets early!"

The return of Art After Dark at the Vernon Public Art Gallery! Join us for
another Art After Dark Party on Friday September 18th at 7:30 p.m.  Art
After Dark is designed to cultivate the creative community in Vernon by
offering a venue for art, food, drinks, music, hands-on art activities and
art exhibitions all in one evening.

The first event of its kind offered in Vernon, Art After Dark allows adults
to enjoy a soiree style party while having the opportunity to get involved
in optional collaborative art activities for all skill levels.  D.J Chrispin
will be playing at the event, allowing guests to mix, mingle and dance.
Gourmet appetizers are included with your ticket purchase. A cash bar will
include, cocktails, beer and wine for $5 each.

Enjoy an array of optional art activities, including a photo booth with an
exciting selection of new creative and comical props (prints available by
donation), a group card game called Apples to Apples, a balloon animal
making station, and Exquisite Corpse; a group drawing game inspired by
Surrealism that involves a group of people each drawing a portion of the
human (or non-human) figure, however each person does not get to see what
the other drew before them, the end results in a very creative and often
comical creation.
