The Mission Museum presents Fun, Fashion & Flappers: the Remount!

Saturday, October 10, 1-4pm

 

 

Mission, B.C. - The Mission Museum will be hosting a 1920s Fashion Show
Fundraiser at the Cedarbrooke Chateau (32331 7th Avenue) on Saturday,
October 10th, 2015 from 1 - 4pm. Afternoon tea will be served and guests
will be treated to live entertainment, a costume contest, a photographic
presentation featuring historical snapshots of Mission during the Roaring
Twenties courtesy of the Mission Community Archives, and of course, our
curated 1920s Fashion show featuring gems from that most interesting decade
in fashion history. Guests will also have the opportunity bid on a showcase
of treasures generously donated by local artisans and merchants in our
silent auction.  

Tickets are just $25 for adults or $15 for children ages 12 & under and
include entry into the show and the chance to win one of our great door
prizes! Get your tickets in advance, available at the Mission Museum gift
shop or purchase them online at www.missionmuseum.com.

The Mission Museum is located at 33201 2nd Avenue in Mission and is open to
the public from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays and 1:00-4:00 pm

The Mission District Historical Society operates three branches: the Mission
