Alice
If one of the museums doesn’t take you up on your gracious offer, the Craft Council of BC would be happy to take it in. We sometimes have artists in residence that have need of sewing machine of this caliber.
Let me know if we can be of assistance.

Hello,
I have a working early 1900s Singer treadle sewing machine. It belonged to my grandmother who used it in Victoria and Saanich and on Salt Spring Island.
In the late '70s my father refinished and refurbished it for my use in the early '80s.
Would you please post on your list serve so I can find a new home for this wonderful piece of history?
Thank you,
Alice Lee
