Folks:
Need some help to find out what these might be worth or someone who can help place a value on these trade beads owned by one of our directors. The note that came with them reads:
“2 strings of glass trade beads blue and white with two tubular beads made of bone. The blue and white beads called ‘crow’ or ‘china’ beads were used across the plains area of N. America from the late 18th Century to the late 19th Century. These examples probably date from the second half of the 19th Century, 1850-1900. They have almost certainly been restrung.”
Any ideas? Please let me know.
