[BCMA] Reply to Tammy Regarding Outdoor Wood Structures

Hi Tammy,

We have just finished a massive conservation project on a wooden structure, so I have some knowledge on this.

Our conservator used a product called Timbor after carefully cleaning the surface of the wood with small soft brushes.

>From the look of it you may want to think about trying to replace parts of the structure, as we did.
It is possible to age the look of new wood to grey/silver. In any case, it may be less expensive to replace than to conserve wood structures, in some cases.
