CALL FOR ARTISTS, ARTISANS AND VENDORS - CHRISTMAS IN LEIGH SQUARE

Leigh Square Community Arts Village in Port Coquitlam is currently looking for artists and artisans for Saturday, December 3 from 1-5pm for the City of Port Coquitlam's "Christmas in Leigh Square" event featuring live music, a visit from Santa, lighting of the Square, family holiday art making, Heritage Tree festival, a Lantern Parade, and a holiday market!

We are looking for artisan vendors interested in selling holiday gifts - jewellers, crafters, potters, knitters, sculptors and artists of all mediums to join us in creating a Christmas market at this event, attended by the whole community!

  *   There will be no fee for this event and sales will be allowed with no commission required, this is due to the event being outdoors.
  *   Please note, this will be a rain or shine event and will be held outdoors.
  *   Artisans will be placed outdoors between 1-5pm, and provided the following: one tent, one table and one-two chairs. Vendors/Artists/Artisans are responsible for any additional supplies.

If you are interested, please email the following to submissions at portcoquitlam.ca<mailto:submissions at portcoquitlam.ca> no later than Friday, October 28:

  *   Short bio of yourself (100 words max).
  *   Contact Information - city, phone, email included.
  *   Description of the type of art you would like to sell.
  *   At least 3 images of your work (72 DPI, web quality) sent as attachments. May include more images if so desired.
  *   Links to a website if you have one.

Vendor applications will be reviewed and if suitable, accepted vendors will be contacted at the beginning of November.
