Spring/Summer hospitality & Tourism Internships



Hospitality and tourism students are now seeking their spring/summer internships.  You are invited to post opportunities to our job board, Symplicity<https://royalroads-csm.symplicity.com/employers/> or submit by email<mailto:internships at royalroads.ca>.

RRU Internship Requirements<http://www.royalroads.ca/about/work-integrated-learning-types> are aligned with co-operative education:

1.      minimum 420 hour on-site work terms

2.      on-site work supervision and mentorship including mid-term and end-of-term formal evaluations

3.      are an academic component of the degree with faculty support and academic requirements
Internship Types:

Students are seeking all levels of opportunities:

Bachelor of Arts in International Hotel Management<http://www.royalroads.ca/prospective-students/bachelor-arts-international-hotel-management>
Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management<http://www.royalroads.ca/prospective-students/bachelor-arts-global-tourism-management>

2nd Year Students:
- are seeking entry-level internships or seasonal opportunities
- are available starting in early to late May, returning to academic studies in early September

4th Year Students:
- are seeking mid-level and management-in-training positions
- are available in early June and are not required to return to on-campus studies
- may continue in their roles as employees upon the completion of their internship

Master of Arts in Tourism Management<http://www.royalroads.ca/prospective-students/master-arts-tourism-management>

- are seeking management-in-training, research and management-level positions
- are available to start from late February to late July and are not required to return to on-campus studies
- may continue in their roles as employees upon the completion of their internship
