The Alberta Museums Association (AMA) is currently seeking proposals for the 2016 Conference. This Conference will explore how a culture of sharing and inquiry encourages the innovative exchange of knowledge, resources, and stories. Through this exchange, museums can expand expertise, leverage available resources, share unique stories, and contribute to a collaborative and empowered museum community in Alberta.

Please see the Call for Proposals, which outlines this year's theme and topic areas.<http://www.museums.ab.ca/media/58866/ama_conference_2016_call_for_proposals.pdf>

Complete the online Session Proposal Form<http://www.museums.ab.ca/conference-2016-session-proposal-form.aspx> by Monday, February 29, 2016.

While session proposals will be reviewed by the Conference Program Committee, the AMA Secretariat is happy to serve as a sounding board for your ideas. Contact learning at museums.ab.ca<mailto:%20learning at museums.ab.ca> for feedback or more information.

For more information on the AMA and its Annual Conference, please visit museums.ab.ca<http://www.museums.ab.ca/>.

Looking for a new way to share your story?

In addition to regular sessions, the 2016 conference will offer Spotlight Sessions. These five minute presentations can focus on just about anything. They are aimed at sharing the stories, experiences, and lessons learned from across the Alberta museum community. To participate, complete the online Spotlight Session Proposal Form<http://www.museums.ab.ca/spotlight-session-proposal-form.aspx>.
