Hello everyone,

We have been contacted by Grant Thornton LLP, of behalf of go2HR, who is
conducting a survey on labour shortages in BC. They are keen to ensure that
all sectors connected to tourism have the chance to respond - including
museums, galleries, archives, and heritage - and have, therefore, asked that
we share this information with you.

The objective of the survey is to measure the economic impact of labour
shortages in the province and in specific regions. The resulting
information, will be used to:

*	Gain a solid understanding of the economic potential of tourism and
hospitality businesses in British Columbia;

*	Gain a solid understanding of how labour shortages are impacting
tourism and hospitality businesses; and,

*	Estimate the potential economic losses to regional and provincial
economies resulting from tourism and hospitality businesses that are unable
to fill certain positions and, as a result, are not able to operate at full
capacity.

I would encourage you to participate in this survey so that we may all gain
a better understanding of the impact of labour shortages, access to skilled
workers, and how funding impacts our ability to hire. The survey link and
further information is below. The deadline is February 12.

Best regards,

Theresa Mackay
