The Vernon Public Art Gallery is seeking a volunteer Treasurer for its Board of Directors

Time Commitment: The role of the Treasurer requires an estimated commitment of a 2 year term, 10 board meetings a year with occasional special meetings. Bookkeeping is done by paid staff, so this role is to advise staff and report to the board.

Qualities and Skills Preferred

  *   Experience of financial management of bookkeeping experience.
  *   A willingness to devote the necessary time and effort to the position.
  *   Attention to detail and an ability to keep accurate records
  *   Experience of fundraising.
  *   Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  *   Ability to ensure decisions are taken and followed-up.
  *   Good time-keeping.
