The Resilience of the People:
A visual history of the traditional territory of the Lekwungen/Songhees People
Join us for an evening of guest presentations, plus traditional song and dance by Songhees performers. Aboriginal inspired food and beverages will also be served.
This special exhibit is a partnership between the Robert Bateman Centre and Songhees Nation. It is an invitation to witness the changes in the area today known as Victoria, the traditional territory of the Lekwungen peoples. Through learning about the past, visitors will gain a deeper understanding of the present and possibilities of the future.
