explore our newest exhibit: the sculptors’ society of bc

The City of Port Coquitlam welcomes the public to the opening reception for The Sculptors’ Society of BC exhibition by Diane Roy, Linda Schmidt, Louise Soleki-Weir, Ron Simmer, and Suzy Birstein on Thursday July 14th from 7-9 pm in the Michael Wright Art Gallery, 2253 Leigh Square Place, Port Coquitlam. The exhibit is free and the reception includes complimentary refreshments and light snacks.

The Sculptors’ Society of BC is a non-profit organization of professional sculptors dedicated to promoting sculpture in British Columbia.  Through their exhibitions and other activities they raise public awareness of sculptors, their techniques and the themes of their work.  Throughout the Sculptors Society of British Columbia’s history, there has been a high standard of excellence, integrity and professionalism amongst the membership.  Public education about sculpture and sculptors continues to be an important focus for the group.
