- please excuse the cross postings -
On behalf of the Archives Association of British Columbia Executive, I am
pleased to announce that the AABC successfully received funding from the
Documentary Heritage Communities Program to develop and host 6 training
clinics (workshops) between September 2016 - March 2018. These 1 day
workshops will be offered free of charge to AABC members and may be of
interest to our colleagues in the heritage community.
Three workshops will be scheduled in consultation with AABC members in
2016-2017 in various membership regions including the Thompson-Okanagan, BC
Northwest, and Greater Vancouver. These will be followed in 2017-2018 with
the remaining three workshops in the Kootenay-Columbia Region, Central
Interior/NE BC, and Greater Vancouver. The workshops will be scheduled with
a limited number of regional site visits (also free of charge) by the EAS
Coordinator.
Planning for the workshops will begin in the coming weeks and registration
details will be shared on the AABC website < aabc.ca > and on various
list-serves once the date, location and agendas are finalized!
This project has been made possible in part by the Government of
Canada. Ce projet
a été rendu possible en partie grâce au gouvernement du Canada.
Best regards,
Lisa
