HA489G Cultural Landscapes; 6-day on campus offering; May 9-14, 2016. Join instructor Wendy Shearer to learn about the complex nature of cultural landscapes and develop your ability to identify, evaluate, and develop conservation strategies for landscape resources that are integral to your community.

Learning outcomes:
* identify the different types of cultural landscapes using UNESCO World Heritage definitions and for comparison, US definitions

* gain a thorough understanding of the process used to document existing conditions, research site chronologies, evaluate heritage values and significance, and to develop appropriate strategies for the managing of change of cultural landscapes
