[BCMA] Collective Access Maintenance/Value

Hello everyone,

Our collections volunteer team at the Roedde House Museum has recently been
working on updating our artefact information on CollectiveAccess  and has
run into some trouble doing so due to the need for updates to
CollectiveAccess and  subsequent technical issues with our server and memory
(we use HostPapa for our website). We are looking into Whirl-A-Gigi cloud
hosting packages, which would take care of our tech issues, though comes
with a (for us) rather hefty price tag of $175 USD/month or approximately
$2,700 CAD/year. Are any other small museums out there in a similar
situation? It would be great to hear your opinion on the cost/benefit of
this investment.
