Snow place like the Royal BC Museum in December

VICTORIA, BC-Although the Royal BC Museum does not have a partridge specimen in its collection or a pear tree in its Native Plant Garden, it certainly offers its visitors at least twelve days of family fun this December.

Feeling festive? Savour the sights and sounds of Christmas in Old Town<http://royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/visit/events/calendar/event/60105/christmas-old-town>, bedecked in seasonal finery from November 21, 2016 to January 9, 2017; access is included with museum admission or membership. Save yourself and your children from mall-Santa mayhem and enjoy a civilized visit with kindly Father Christmas in Old Town<http://royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/visit/events/calendar/event/60105/christmas-old-town> for a photo op and a chance to share your wish list, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in December (2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 & 18) from 11:00am to 3:00pm. This is included with admission or museum membership (photos by donation).

Step through the doors of the oldest house in British Columbia still on its original site and experience what Christmas would have been like more than 100 years ago at Helmcken House Old-Fashioned Christmas<http://royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/visit/events/calendar/event/60106/helmcken-house-old-fashioned-christmas>, from December 17 to 31, 12:00pm to 4:00pm, included with museum membership, admission or by donation.
